Unattended Bonfire Spreads

One fire appliance from Saltash Community Fire Station attended a report that a bonfire that had been left unattended had spread to an adjacent skip. Firefighters used one hosereel to extinguish the fires and prevent further spread.
Fire Safety Advice:
Always ensure that your bonfire is fully extinguished before you leave it. Unattended fires can easily flare up and spread to nearby combustible items causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
