At 09:05 this morning a call was received to a multiple vehicle road traffic accident on the A39 neat St Teath. Five firefighters from Delabole, Six firefighters from Wadebridge and five firefighters on a specialist Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended the incident. A total of seven vehicles were involved and one person was trapped in one of the vehicles. The casualty was cut free form the vehicle using crash rescue equipment and was then taken to hospital via Air Ambulance. There were two further casualties who were treated by paramedics on scene. Fire crews used a winch and assisted the Police in making the scene safe.
