Five firefighters from Newquay in one appliance was mobilised to an incident where a car full of people had gotten stuck in a river ford near Legonna, Newquay. There was five occupants in the vehicle included three children. A marker in the river suggested that the water in the ford was 2 foot deep. Firefighters used a winch to pull the vehicle free from the ford and the occupants of the vehicle remained on scene awating recovery.
