Fire In Laundry Room

On receipt of a call stating there was smoke coming from a laundry room of a residential hotel, two appliances from Newquay were mobilised, on arrival the fire was believed to be extinguished, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus inspected the area and confirmed the fire was out and then proceeded to ventilate the area. Staff were alerted to the incident by the alarm system actuating in that area.
