Chimney Fire

Two appliances from Bodmin Community Fire Station were mobilised to a report of sparks coming out of the chimney at first floor level. The crew checked the chimney using a thermal image camera and used chimney rods and small tools to extinguish the fire. They also cut away plasterboard from the walls and investigated floor joists to make sure there was no fire spread. There are no further details for this incident.
