Firefighters from Truro attended a chimney fire in a wood burner. Crews used a stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots. The cause of the fire was accidental and confined. A home fire safety check was also carried out and smoke detectors were installed in the property.
