Fire Severely Damages Hotel

About 50 firefighters from Looe, Liskeard, Polruan, Lostwithiel, Callington, St Austell and Truro were involved in fighting a fire in a 3 storey building, used as a hotel and restaurant.
The fire severely damaged the building that measured 15 metres by 15 metres and had spread to the roof of an adjacent building.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 3 jets and 3 hosereels to extinguish the fire. The last crews left the scene at 2340hrs.
