On the initial call for this incident, appliances from Wadebridge and Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival the crews found smoke issuing from a bungalow measuring 11 by 12 metres, the fire was in the lounge area and the property was heavily smokelogged, firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, entered the property with a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the positive pressure fan was then used to ventilate the premises. Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to check the area for hot spots. The cause was believed electrical.
