Dog Released From Rocks

below Brenton Road, Downderry at 20/02/2014 13:50

On receipt of a call from the Brixham Coastguard requesting our assistance, Fire Control mobilised an appliance from Looe Community Fire Station. The Coastguard were already on scene and needed help with a dog that had fallen between rocks and was trapped in a confined space. The collie dog was trapped 6 foot down amongst the sea defences and the fire crew used crash rescue equipment to move some large rocks. The dog was released safe and well and returned to its owner.
