Carbon Monoxide Incident

A fire crew with a gas monitor from Bude Community Fire Station attended along with fire crews from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service's Hartland and Bideford Fire Stations, a report from the amulance of a female suffering from headaches and dizziness with a carbon monoxide alarm sounding in her house.

On arrival the fire crews removed the female from the property and committed two firefighters with breathing apparatus and a gas detector to investigate.

At 11:32, a message was received stating carbon monoxide had been present in the premises which caused one female to be taken to hospital via road ambulance to be checked over.
