Appliances from St. Dennis, St. Austell, Mevagissey and Truro attended this incident, which involved several scrap vehicles but spread to an adjacent building and also involved gas cylinders. Fire personnel wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene, there were also jets and hosereels in use. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
