Leaking Fuel Tank

Five firefighters from Newquay attended a call to a vehicle with a ruptured 300 litre diesel tank. The tank was split and leaking slowly, firefighters used dammit paste to try to contain the leak. Crews remained on scene awaiting the attendance of specialist assistance to syphon the fuel from the tank. Once on scene firefighters assisted with the draining of the remaining fuel in the tank.
