Road Traffic Collision

On receipt of this call, both appliances from Truro were mobilised, on arrival it was found that an LPG Tanker had been in a collision which involved an 11,000 volt cable, no persons were trapped. A nearby house was evacuated and crews stood by awaiting the arrival of Western Power.
Update 1245 hours: The power to the cables involved and the area surrounding area has been declared safe and the tanker had been removed from the scene, Fire & Rescue personnel are still standing by at this time.
