Eleven firefighters on two appliances from Newquay attended a call to a cooker on fire. The cooker was in a kitchen on the ground floor of a link detached house. Fire crews used two breathing apparatus with a thermal imaging camera and a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to make the fire out. Once the fire had been extinguished crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the premise.
