A390 Closed Due To Large Diesel Spill

A total of ten firefighters from Redruth and Camborne are in attendance at a large diesel spill on the A390 near the Penstraze junction. The road is currently closed as fire crews work alongside Cornwall Highways and Police to stem the 700 litre diesel leak from a tractor. Crews are using a spill kit and shovels to stem and contain the leak. At this time it is expected that the road will be closed for the next three hours.
