Fire In Airing Cupboard

One fire appliance and a water carrier from Liskeard and a second fire appliance from Callington were mobilised to this incident. The fire was in the airing cupboard of a detached property and the first floor was heavily smoke logged. Crews using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hosereel extinguished the fire, which was caused accidentally. Whilst in attendance crews also fitted two smoke detectors. There are no further details for this incident.
