Two appliances from Padstow Community Fire Station and a wholetime officer were mobilised on receipt of this call to a reported chip pan fire. Crews confirmed the chip pan fire was out on arrival so they investigated with a thermal imaging camera for any hot-spots. The fire was confirmed accidental and confined to the chip pan so crews used a positive ventilation fan for smoke clearance.
