A call was received from a fast food restaurant on Treloggan Industrial estate to report that there was a car on fire in its drive through. Two appliances with eleven firefighters were mobilised to the scene. On arrival of the crews the vehicle fire had spread to the roof on the structure of the restaurant so a request for a third appliance to be sent – five crew from St Columb were mobilised to the scene. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one main jet and one hose reel supplied by a hydrant.
