On receipt of this call, both appliances from St. Ives were mobilised, on arrival at the scene smoke was reported issuing from the building also a message was received that 'Persons were Reported'. Further resources were requested and an appliance from Penzance was mobilised. The fire was in the kitchen area of a three storey semi detached building measuring ten by twelve metres, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereels and a main jet at the scene. A total of twenty one Fire & Rescue personnel were in attendance, crews searched the premises and confirmed that all persons were accounted for, two dogs were rescued from the building. A fire investigation has taken place and the cause is classified as accidental.
