Two major appliances and an auxiliary appliance from St Ives Community Fire Station along with an officer were mobilised to a reported caravan fire - the caller stated smoke was issuing.

On arrival crews confirmed the caravan was well alight. The caravan measuring 5 metres by 2 metres was 75 percent destroyed by fire.
The crews used 4 breathing apparatus, a hose-reel jet, a main jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire.
All persons were accounted for and the crews confirmed it was arson suspected and the fire was spread.
