Rubbish Fire

One appliance from Camborne was mobilised to this incident, on arrival the crew found that a fire involving a rubbish bin had spread to a gas meter, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and then proceeded to isolate the gas supply, the crew were detained for a short while awaiting a gas engineer. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
