Calls to smoke coming from a property at Prospect place were recieved this evening by Cornwall Fire Control. Two appliances with a total of eleven crew were mobilised to the scene. On arrival there was a fire on the first floor of the building and crews used one hose reel, one jet for safety and crews used other equipment to make access to the fire. Firefighters started evacuating the rest of the property. The fire involved a pan left on a cooker which fire crews removed.
