At 12:08 Cornwall FRS received a call to a reported fire in property and smoke was issuing. On receipt of this call appliances from Liskeard, Looe, and Callington Community Fire Stations and two officers were mobilised to attend.

On arrival crews stated smoke was issuing. The crews used four breathing apparatus and two hose-reel jets to extinguish the fire which was situated in a bedroom on the first floor.

Once the fire was out crews used two thermal imaging cameras to check for any hot spots and ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan. The fire was confirmed accidental and confined.
