Eleven firefighters on two appliances were mobilised to a property in the centre of St Breward. The occupants of the property were out but a neighbour had heard the fire alarms sounding and had investigated the property externally - the caller stated that they could smell smoke coming through the letterbox. Crews investigated the smoke and found that there had been a fire in a lamp - the fire was out on arrival. Crews inspected the scene.
