Nine firefighters in two appliances from Callington Fire Station attended a report of chimney fire with small amount of smoke coming from the roof tiles. On arrival crews used triple extension ladder, roof ladder, shacs pack, one hosereel and stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire. They then investigated neighbouring properties to check for possible spread. Whilst in the area crews carried out home fire safety checks on nearby properties.
