Cow Rescued From Camel River

Nr Iron Bridge, Wadebridge to Bodmin on the Camel trail at 23/06/2014 19:02


At 19:02 this evening crews rescued a cow who was 60cm deep in water, and the tide was rising. Two appliances from Wadebridge with ten firefighters and a Water rescue team from St Austell with nine firefighters were mobilised to the scene. Two firefighters wearing dry suits and buoyancy aids and another two crew with buoyancy aids used an inflated length of fire hose to guide the cow back to the river shore and up onto safe ground.
