Fire Control have received multiple calls to a scrapyard at the above location. We are currently dealing with a large fire involving a single storey commercial building approx 10m by 10m and also 12 further vehicles. We have six pumping appliances in attendance with 34 firefighters from Camborne, Redruth, Helston, Falmouth and Truro stations. There is also the Incident Command Unit from St Just the Operational Support Vehicle from Falmouth and two Water Carriers one from Helston and one from Wadebridge with a further 14 crew.
Further updates will be posted as and when we receive them.

Update @ 0408hrs: Crews set up water relay and used four jets and one hosereel to extinguish the fire. The incident is now scaling down and a fire investigation will be carried out later this morning.
