Pumping Appliances from Liskeard, Looe and Polruan and the Water Carrier from Liskeard attended a barn fire near St Keyne, Liskeard.

On arrival, the crew found the 6 metre by 4 metre barn to be fully engulfed in flames and in close vicinity to a domestic heating oil tank containing 1200 litres of fuel and a large electrical transformer. Western Power were called to isolate the electricity supply before crews could extinguish the accidental fire.

Crews used 2 Breathing Apparatus and 2 Main Jets using a water relay between the Water Carrier and a Pumping Appliance.
