Eight fire appliances from Falmouth, Helston, Redruth, Camborne, St Keverne, Newquay and Perranporth plus the Aerial Ladder Platform from Truro the Command Support Unit from St Just the Operational Support Vehicle from Falmouth and a Water Carrier from Wadebridge are all in attendance dealing with a large fire. The building is approx 60m x 40m and used in food manufacturing. The crew wearing four sets of breathing apparatus and using three jets fought the fire until the fire broke through the roof and it began to collapse. Firefighting is now being carried out at a safe distance using the aerial ladder platform as a water tower.
