Good progress is being made with firefighters now tackling the fire wearing seven sets of breathing apparatus and using three jets and hosereels.

The incident will be scaling down to four pumps in approximately one hour's time.
A fire investigation will be carried out later in the day to establish the cause.

Update @ 0550hrs: Crews are currently deployed tackling hotspots within the building. Equipment in use includes 5 jets, 5 hosereel, Aerial Ladder Platform, Thermal image camera, 10 sets breathing apparatus and a ground monitor.

Update @ 0745hrs: The incident has now scaled down to three fire appliances. All other appliances have now left the scene.
