At 1153 hours this morning the Fire Service were called to a report of a lorry which had overturned, and there was a possiblity of a chemical spill. On arrival the crews from St Dennis found that there were no persons trapped in the vehicle, which was carrying general waste rather than any chemicals involved. The lorry had knocked into a lamp post which Western Power had to attend to isolate the power to make the scene safe. There are no further details available regarding this incident.
