Six firefighters from Mevagissey attended a call to a chimney fire in a cottage at Creed. On crews arrival the fire was contained within the chimney and a wood burner, the fire in the grate was removed and crews used a thermal imaging camera, a triple extension ladder and a hearth kit to clear the fire in the flue.
