At 13.36 today Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received a call to a person who had fallen into a well. Two crews from Bodmin attend, one of which was the specialist line rescue unit and one appliance attended from St Austell. On arrival the crews found a gentleman had fallen approximately 20 feet down into a well. One firefighter was lowered down into the well using the line rescue equipment, the casualty was placed in a harness and was then brought to the top by crews. He was then placed in care of West Country Ambulance service. There is no further information available on this incident.
