Hay Bales

Two appliances from St Austell Fire Station have attended a fire involving round hay bales. Ten were destroyed, while another twelve were moved away from the fire by firefighters. An area of grass measuring 10m by 10m was also damaged by the fire. The crews used forks and hosereels to put the fire out.
The cause was arson and the Police have been informed.
