A call was received from the ambulance service requesting attendance of Cornwall Fire and Rescue to a person trapped under a heavy metal object.

Crews from Falmouth and a rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised, along with two officers.
Crash rescue equipment was used to release the casualties who were air lifted to hospital by the air ambulance.
