Fire In Dishwasher

Two fire appliances from Bude Fire Station attended this incident. On arrival the crews found the kitchen area of a two storey detached house heavily smoke logged. They used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hosereel to extinguish the fire and then cleared the smoke using positive pressure ventilation fan. It was confirmed that the fire started in the dishwasher and was accidental.
