A fire appliance from Callington Fire Station has been in attendance to a high voltage cable that was arcing and caught an area of grass on fire. Crews cordoned off the area and awaited for Western Power to arrive and isolate the supply. The crew were then able to damp down and turn the area over to put out the fire. There are no further details for this incident.
