Two fire appliances from Saltash Community Fire Station were quickly in attendance at a fire involving a dishwasher. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure fan was then used to clear the smoke from the property.

During the 999 call, a smoke alarm could clearly be heard, quickly alerting the occupants to the fire and allowing them to escape to safety.
