Two appliances from St Austell attended a report of a fire in a flat. On arrival firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus found a small fire involving a pan on a cooker, it was extinguished using tap water. The flat was lightly smoke logged and natural ventilation was used to clear it. One person was treated with oxygen at the scene and checked over by ambulance personnel, but the casualty was able to return to the flat. The cause was accidental
