Fire Control received a call, just before 8pm this evening, from a gentleman reporting that there were flames coming out of the back of his electric cooker. He was advised to evacuate his property immediately and to await crews' arrival.
Though two appliances from Wadebridge attended the premise very quickly, the fire was fortunately already out on their arrival.
On inspection the cause of the fire was believed to be accidental and confined.
There are no further details available regarding this incident.
