100 Square Metres Gorse Fire

A total of 18 firefighters on four appliances from Delabole, Wadebridge and Bodmin attended a call to a large gorse fire on the cliffs at Bossiney. The fire measures 100 square metres and involved high gorse, fire crews used one hose reel and beaters to extinguish the fire. A second major appliance was requested to attend to assist with water relay as there was difficult access to the fire.
