Fire In Airing Cupboard

At 15:34 a call was recieved to a property with smoke issuing from its roof. Ten crew from St Dennis on two appliances were mobilised initially and crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera. Soon after the crews arrival they requested further appliances from St Austell, St Columb and Newquay attend. In total 28 fire service staff attended this incident. Police were requested to attend to close Carne Hill to traffic. The fire was believed to be on the first floor of the premise and in the attic space, at 16:41 four breathinh apparatus and two hose reels were in use. At 17:02 crews confirmed that the fire was out and crews remained on scene cutting away to make sure that the fire had not spread. There are no more details avaliable on this incident.
