A call was recieved at 03:06 hrs to a road traffic collision involving a car and a Large goods vehicle. A total of twelve firefighters on one fire appliance and a Rescue tender were mobilised from Bodmin fire station. One casualty was severly trapped in the cars wreckage and firefighters used a lighting set and crash rescue equipment to cut the person free. A second casualty who was not trapped was treated by Ambulance paramedics on scene. Firefighters made the scene safe and also used a thermal imaging camera to check the surrounding area for further casualties as a precaution - none were found. There are no more details available on this incident.
