Firefighters from Torpoint, Saltash and Liskeard alongside water rescue units and support vehicles from St Austell are currently in attendance at a boat fire. Approximately 40 personnel are dealing with a 55 foot vessel well alight moored on a pontoon. Two breathing apparatus are committed at this stage. Ambulance and Police are also in attendance.

Update 0330: Two breathing apparatus are still in use, good progress is being made.

Update 0700: The incident has now been scaled down to 2 pumps. The fire is now extinguished and crews remain on scene damping down.
