On receipt of this call, stating that a person had fallen down the cliffside, appliances from Looe and Bodmin were mobilised, also the line rescue vehicle from Bodmin. On arrival the crews found that a male had fallen approximately fifteen metres onto rocks. Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel assessed the scene and administered first aid to the casualty. Working with other agencies including South West Ambulance, Devon & Cornwall Police, HM Coastguard and the RNLI, the casualty was transferred to a lifeboat which then took the casualty to a nearby beach and was than taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
