At 18:02 a call was received to a property which had a fire on the ground floor. Nineteen firefighters from Looe and Polruan were mobilised to the incident. The building measured 10 x 6 metres and crews forced entry, extinguishing the fire using four breathing apparatus and two hose reels. Once the fire was out the building was ventilated and small tools were used to cut away at the floor involved to ensure the fire was completely out.
