Fire In Shower Unit

Six firefighters from St Austell and Four from Fowey attended a call to a fire in a shower unit. The fire was in a domestic premise and soon after arriving fire crews requested an Ambulance attend to treat one casualty suffering smoke inhalation. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one carbon dioxide fire extinguisher on the fire. Once the fire was out crews were delayed cutting away.
