At 19:28 Cornwall FRS received a call to a reported boat alight.

On receipt of this call, appliances from Torpoint and Looe Fire Stations were mobilised to attend as well as specialists appliances from St Austell Fire Station and two Officers.

On arrival crews used a Light Portable Pump, hose and a branch which they transferred onto the RNLI rib in order to fight the fire from there. Shortly after crews managed to get the vessel alongside shore-line with the assistance of the RNLI.
