Fire In Basement

Two pumping appliances from St Ives and one appliance from Penzance Fire Station were on scene at this incident. It involved a domestic property under construction consisting of three storeys approximately 15m x 12m. The fire was loacted in a consumer unit in the basement. The crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets, two dry powder extinguishers and a thermal image camera to put out the fire and make the property safe.
