At 01:38 this morning a call was received from a concerned neighbour to a flat where the alarm was sounding and there was a smell of burning. Two appliances with a total of eleven crew were mobilised to the incident. The alarm was sounding in one flat in a four storey block of flats. Crews made a forced entry to the premise where they found there had been a small pan fire. The fire was out on arrival, crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the premise.
